The Wathen LiquaDrive Power Amplifier 250/250 has a 2 X 250 Watt Wathen Class D Audio Amplifier that integrates the IRS2092 as a state-of-the-art driver ICs, along with IR’s digital audio dual MOSFETs. This dead quiet amplifier delivers very smooth uncolored and powerful dual-channel amplification up to 250W. Extra high-quality and high performance components are used to separate this amplifier from other mass production Class D amplifiers. It also features thermal protection, Over-current protection, Over-voltage protection, Under-voltage protection and DC protection. In addition, an oversized heat sink ensures excellent heat dissipation. The Power
supply has huge filter capacitance of 28,200 (14,100 microfarad per side) that significantly reduces ripple. The power supply comes with 3 watt bleeder resistors, 8 Amp 800V rectifier, large 100V 105 degree capacitors, so with larger bleeder capacitors can handle up to 85 volts. Each LiquaDrive Power Amplifier also has a very large Toroid transformer to ensure there will always be plenty of power on tap.
