LiquaTube Preamplifier - DAC 5670
The LiquaTube TM 5670 Preamplifier/DAC uses SRPP tube pre-amplification that features two Wathen CryoTone 5670 tube. This incredible sounding unit comes with two USA made Wathen CryoTone 5670 tubes and two Russian made CryoTone 6N3P-WC tubes. Both types are military spec extra-long life ruggedized tubes that have hand selected, tested and undergone our extreme CryoTone process. The CryoTone process improves every aspect of the audio tube. The two different but interchangeable tubes are provided to allow you to enjoy the fine characteristics of listening to different tubes. Many people collect and change between tubes from time to time based on mood and changing preference. The optional matching tube types are 5670, 396A, 2C51,6N3P, 6N3P-E, 6N3P-EV,6N3P-DR and the Chinese 6N3.
The LiquaTube Preamplifier / DAC has a second to none Digital to Analog converters that are capable of decoding 24 Bit / 192k content. It also utilizes a pure signal pathway. By designing from the ground up to not use digital sound processing we’ve found that a pure circuit is the best circuit. Each additional “Feature” that is added to the signal path degrades dynamics and clarity. As a matter of fact we do everything we can to make the signal path have as few components as necessary. The components we use have been chosen based on sonic performance. There is simply not a solid state preamplifier solution that has the same life like organic sound and stage of our LiquaTube / DAC Preamplifier 5670.
