The ultra-fast Tweeter has a unique profile that provides an excellent on and off-axis response. It has a very natural sparkle that also has an extremely smooth frequency response that extends well beyond the human hearing range. The dual chamber design and fast response provides delicate detail to music without any harshness or fatigue. The Reference Series Woofer utilizes a super low-distortion motor system with two short-circuit paths and a rigid black anodized aluminum cone. The lowdistortioncharacteristics and high excursion capabilities provide exceptional clarity, detail, and wonderful dynamics. They also feature a low restriction cast frame, low-loss rubber surround, and a solid aluminum phase plug. When these components are combined in the Wathen Reference Tension/Rib/NEO Isolation enclosure, the outcome is extremely alive and engaging with no fatigue.
