Absolutely LOVE this Tube! I got a pre-order from Don himself over at Wathen CryoTone Tubes. Popped it into the v1 of my Morgan RCA35 and haven't put my guitar down since! The Texas Special replaced a JJ ecc83, and will remain there permanently. It had way more of a balanced tone and gave the amp a much warmer sound. No harshness whatsoever. Articulation of the overall eq just came to life! Super pleased. I was also very impressed how well these tubes were packaged. It would be a terrible to spend money on new tubes, only for them to be delivered and packaged poorly. Highly recommend Wathen CryoTone to anyone looking for new tubes.
